In this role, you'll work alongside Business Analysts, Architects, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance teams to design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that streamline operations and enhance customer and stakeholder experiences. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a Salesforce design and development resource utilizing Agile software development methodologies
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives
- Build and maintain scalable applications using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and Salesforce platform capabilities
- Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems to support enterprise business processes
- Create and maintain automated workflows, process automation, and platform enhancements to improve operational efficiency
- Partner closely with Business Analysts to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and detailed implementation plans
- Work alongside Enterprise Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to develop testing strategies, test cases, and user acceptance testing plans
- Support change management processes by documenting, evaluating, and implementing approved change requests
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, solution designs, and knowledge repositories
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, governance standards, and security requirements
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 7+ years of Salesforce design and development experience delivering enterprise-level solutions
- Strong expertise with Apex, Lightning Experience, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce Flows, and integrations
- Experience developing and supporting solutions within Sales Cloud environments
- Experience developing and supporting solutions within Service Cloud environments
- Experience developing and supporting solutions within Experience Cloud environments
- Experience working within Government Cloud implementations
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, sharing rules, automation tools, and platform best practices
- Experience working within Agile software development environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
- Proven ability to gather requirements, create technical designs, and develop scalable Salesforce solutions
Bonus Points If You Have
- Scaled Agile Certified SAFe Practitioner certification
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect certification
- Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect certification
- 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
- Experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) for Agile project delivery and release management
- Experience working with state and federal government agencies
- Experience supporting mortgage, housing, lending, or real estate technology solutions
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with complex compliance requirements
- Exposure to enterprise integration platforms, API management, and cloud-based architectures
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
