Your Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with business process owners to gather, analyze, and document reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and Agile documentation
- Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA to manage requirements and project deliverables
- Document data ingestion, transformation, and ETL processes supporting enterprise reporting solutions
- Collaborate closely with BI Architects and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical standards
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and internal refinement sessions
- Support testing activities and validate new reporting functionality before deployment
- Create and maintain documentation in accordance with Abbott SLC standards
- Assist end users and engineering teams with troubleshooting and support tickets
- Drive continuous process improvement and promote best practices across data and reporting initiatives
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership

Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or Power BI Business Analyst
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and reporting requirements
- Proven experience working within Agile and Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Power BI
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and database concepts
- Experience documenting complex business processes and technical requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Microsoft SSIS
- Exposure to Azure Data Services and Azure analytics technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments
- Familiarity with data governance and reporting best practices
- Previous experience working within regulated enterprise environments
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, and production support activities
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Agile or Scrum certifications are beneficial but not required
- Microsoft Power BI certifications are highly desirable
- Azure Data or Analytics certifications are a plus
