Your Role & Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and coordinate project intake requests for software and IT initiatives
- Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal capitalization policies
- Route intake requests through supporting governance teams efficiently
- Partner with project managers, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to resolve intake questions
- Support accurate financial classification of project activities (Capital vs. Expense)
- Maintain strong data integrity across intake tools such as JIRA and SharePoint
- Assist with documentation and continuous improvement of intake and governance processes
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 3–5+ years of experience in project coordination, intake support, finance operations, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of Capital vs Expense financial treatment
- Experience supporting software or IT infrastructure projects
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in structured, process-driven environments
- Proven experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders
Bonus Points If You Have
- Background in PMO support, IT governance, or business analysis
- Exposure to software capitalization or IT financial tracking
- Hands-on experience using JIRA and/or SharePoint for intake workflows
- Experience working within formal approval or governance frameworks
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
