Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as the financial backbone of a major transformation effort. You will:
- Consolidate budgets, forecasts, and financial baselines across a multi-vendor, multi-workstream portfolio
- Lead financial governance, ensuring disciplined oversight and adherence to program controls
- Manage month-end close activities while maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Develop executive financial reports including budget vs. actuals, benefits realization, and run-rate analytics
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making around scope, timing, and sourcing
- Oversee vendor financials, contract funding, SOW alignment, and change controls
- Partner with Procurement, Corporate Finance, Program Leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Coach and lead a small team of analysts, maintaining high-quality standards and promoting continuous improvement
Skills & Experience You Should Possess

- 5–7+ years of financial management experience supporting large programs or complex portfolios
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial controls
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Experience working within ERP-led transformations or multi-vendor delivery models
- Strong communication and influence skills, particularly with senior-level stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environments
- Strong leadership capability and previous experience coaching analysts
Bonus Points If You Have
- Advanced degree or certification such as CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience in regulated environments (utilities, energy, asset-intensive operations)
- Hands-on experience in benefits realization and value tracking
- A track record of simplifying, automating, or optimizing financial processes
- Experience supporting programs exceeding $100M
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required)
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, MBA) are preferred but not required

- Competitive Compensation –$65–$75 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
