- Modern Technology & Security Focus – Gain hands-on exposure to physical security systems, access control, surveillance/CCTV, and cybersecurity-aligned solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with IT, security, facilities, construction, and vendor partners to ensure seamless delivery.
- Structured Yet Flexible Environment – Enjoy full-time, standard corporate hours with no expected overtime, while operating primarily remote.
- Professional Growth – Build your portfolio in security technology, infrastructure upgrades, and multi-site deployments, opening doors to future opportunities.
- Visibility & Ownership – Own schedules, risks, budgets, and deliverables for key projects that directly impact the organization’s overall security posture.
Your Role & Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as the central driver of a large, multi-site security technology program—from planning through deployment and stabilization.
You will:
- Lead end-to-end IT project delivery for security infrastructure upgrades, ensuring milestones and deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and completed on schedule.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans, including timelines, dependencies, resource forecasts, and budgets.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, track actuals vs. forecasts, and support financial reporting for the program.
- Identify, log, and actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating and driving resolution to keep the project on track.
- Coordinate across multiple stakeholders (IT, security, facilities, construction, vendors, and site leadership) to align expectations and remove roadblocks.
- Facilitate recurring status meetings, stand-ups, and working sessions with internal teams and vendors to ensure progress and accountability.
- Oversee vendor-delivered work, including implementation timelines, quality of deliverables, and alignment to program standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of project decisions, changes, and status, providing clear, concise updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with site foremen and construction-related vendors when onsite work is required, demonstrating confidence and leadership in the field.
- Support standardization and consistency of security equipment, technology, and processes across all impacted facilities.
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager leading technology or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience owning project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and keeping teams on track.
- Strong communication skills—you can clearly communicate status, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting and financial management for projects (forecasting, tracking spend, understanding variances).
- Hands-on experience with risk and issue management, including documentation, mitigation planning, and escalation.
- Ability to drive deliverables across multiple teams, keeping everyone aligned and focused on outcomes.
- Solid stakeholder management skills, including expectation setting, conflict resolution, and relationship-building.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt as project needs evolve.
- Comfortable working in a primarily remote environment, using digital tools to collaborate and manage work.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with physical security systems, such as access control, badging, door hardware, and alarm systems.
- Background with surveillance/CCTV solutions, including camera deployments or upgrades.
- Experience leading security infrastructure upgrades or security technology integration projects (physical or cyber).
- Exposure to multi-site technology deployments spanning many facilities or geographic regions.
- Experience managing hardware + software implementation projects.
- Prior work on vendor-delivered projects, especially involving installation, integration, or construction activities.
- Familiarity with construction or facilities coordination, especially where IT and physical work intersect.
- Experience within cybersecurity or working closely with security/IT security teams.
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CSM) or security-related certifications.
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field – or equivalent work experience in IT project management.
- Formal project management training or certification (such as PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus but not strictly required.
