  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis

  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank and payroll-related reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Review and reconcile payroll transactions in partnership with HR and payroll providers, including oversight of multi-state payroll tax activity

  • Support preparation and review of required state payroll tax filings and annual state reporting

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate accounting policies, and local statutory requirements

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and shared service centers across multiple regions and time zones

  • Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation

  • Support group reporting, consolidation activities, and ad hoc financial analyses

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, systems, and controls

  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • CPA designation required

  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or multinational environment

  • Strong, hands-on knowledge of the full accounting cycle

  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP

  • Experience reviewing payroll activity and working with payroll providers in a multi-state environment

  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, ADP or similar platforms)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting or consolidation tools a plus

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

  • Comfortable working across teams, functions, and time zones
