Your Role & Responsibilities
- Design and maintain logical and physical data models across domains (clients, accounts, lending, securities)
- Apply dimensional, 3NF, and data vault modeling techniques to align with business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent definitions, governance, and data quality
- Develop transformation mappings, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation
- Support integration of new financial products into existing models
- Optimize data for analytics, dashboards, and predictive capabilities
- Validate model performance and scalability in Snowflake
- Contribute to medallion-layered architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and ensure traceability
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 15+ years of enterprise data modeling experience, ideally in financial services or wealth management
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and products (securities, annuities, lending, banking)
- Proficiency with ERwin Data Modeler (required)
- Expertise in dimensional modeling, 3NF, and data vault methodologies
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS, or similar cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with medallion/lakehouse architecture
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Experience documenting data transformation business rules
- Background in data quality, metadata, or lineage tracking
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Certifications in data modeling or cloud platforms (preferred but not required)
