Your Role & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain SCADA network displays for distribution, substation, and transmission views
- Map electrical devices and validate internal views within the ADMS
- Create and maintain distribution automation and one-line composite views
- Analyze and validate auto-generated network views
- Import GIS data, troubleshoot mapping errors, and develop scalable solutions
- Define data cleanup scopes for GIS teams and support new device commissioning
- Provide technical support for point-to-point testing and model validation
- Develop and manage symbols, symbol profiles, and non-telemetered point configurations
- Facilitate data feeds into ADMS (load profiles, customer data, etc.)
- Promote model changes and analyze additional data sources for network optimization
- Mentor junior team members and review their work for quality assurance
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5+ years of experience in SCADA systems, network modeling, or electric utility environments
- Strong understanding of GIS data integration and electrical device mapping
- Proficiency in troubleshooting SCADA network issues and validating models
- Experience with ADMS platforms and symbol development
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with EcoStruxure SCADA software
- Familiarity with electric utility equipment and terminology (e.g., elbows, reclosers, feeders, voltage, resistance)
- Experience managing catalogs, tags, and notes for non-telemetered points
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, Information Systems, or a related field
- Certifications in SCADA systems or ADMS platforms are a plus
