Location: Hybrid (Greater Milwaukee WI – up to 3 days per week onsite) – Remote candidates welcome

Trissential is seeking a SCADA Network Analyst to join our client’s team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining advanced distribution management systems (ADMS). Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain SCADA network displays for distribution, substation, and transmission views
  • Map electrical devices and validate internal views within the ADMS
  • Create and maintain distribution automation and one-line composite views
  • Analyze and validate auto-generated network views
  • Import GIS data, troubleshoot mapping errors, and develop scalable solutions
  • Define data cleanup scopes for GIS teams and support new device commissioning
  • Provide technical support for point-to-point testing and model validation
  • Develop and manage symbols, symbol profiles, and non-telemetered point configurations
  • Facilitate data feeds into ADMS (load profiles, customer data, etc.)
  • Promote model changes and analyze additional data sources for network optimization
  • Mentor junior team members and review their work for quality assurance

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 5+ years of experience in SCADA systems, network modeling, or electric utility environments
  • Strong understanding of GIS data integration and electrical device mapping
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting SCADA network issues and validating models
  • Experience with ADMS platforms and symbol development
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with EcoStruxure SCADA software
  • Familiarity with electric utility equipment and terminology (e.g., elbows, reclosers, feeders, voltage, resistance)
  • Experience managing catalogs, tags, and notes for non-telemetered points

Education & Certifications You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Certifications in SCADA systems or ADMS platforms are a plus
