Trissential is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our client’s team in Milwaukee, WI. You’ll be the driving force behind launching and scaling automation using Tricentis Tosca, embedding quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. Your Role & Responsibilities

          • Launch and scale a test automation program using Tricentis Tosca

          • Design and maintain reusable test assets for UI, API, and data validation scenarios
          • Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines and support release gating
          • Collaborate with developers to ensure testable code and close coverage gaps
          • Own version-controlled test code and assets in Git with reliable parallel execution
          • Contribute to performance, load, and basic security checks
          • Maintain clear test documentation and defect narratives
          • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide actionable quality insights
          • Continuously improve automation frameworks and reporting based on feedback

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

          • 6+ years in software testing, with 3+ years focused on automation

          • Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca (module creation, test case design, CI/CD integration)
          • Proficiency in API testing using Tosca API Scan or similar tools
          • Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and pipeline-driven test execution
          • Strong scripting/debugging skills and ability to collaborate on C# or Java code
          • Solid understanding of QA practices including functional, regression, and integration testing
          • Clear communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams

Bonus Points If You Have:

          • Tricentis certification or deep hands-on experience with Tosca

          • Experience introducing automation in manual environments and coaching teams
          • Exposure to performance/load testing or service virtualization
          • Familiarity with test management tools (Zephyr Scale, TestRail, Azure DevOps Test Plans)
          • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containerized test runners

Education & Certifications You Need:

          • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

          • Tricentis Tosca certification preferred
