Your Role & Responsibilities
- Rewrite and modernize the Search Warrants application using updated, supportable technologies
- Implement critical security updates and ensure compliance with agency standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing functionality and performance improvements
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services and Web APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
- Ensure seamless integration with criminal justice data systems
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with:
- HTML/CSS, JavaScript
- Entity Framework
- REST/SOAP web services, Web API
- .NET 4.0 and above
- C# or Java (object-oriented programming)
- Bootstrap 4 or above
- T-SQL, MS SQL
- XML and XSLT
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience working with government or criminal justice systems
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps environments
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in .NET, Java, or secure development practices are a plus
