You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a medical image viewer application—used across the organization to view medical images for patient care. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Provide support, maintenance, and limited development for the medical image viewer application
- Evaluate alternative technical approaches and present recommendations to leadership
- Maintain and support multiple systems and applications across client sites
- Produce and maintain documentation including system requirements and resource inventories
- Collaborate across departments and vendor teams to ensure system performance and uptime
- Act as a liaison between client departments and vendors for system support
- Participate in virtual collaboration with colleagues across client practices
- Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- Broad technical background including SQL, data warehousing, and dashboard development with Splunk
- Programming experience in Java and Python
- Strong organizational skills and customer focus
- Experience supporting complex systems and applications
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience in healthcare technology environments
- Exposure to both custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with medical imaging systems or similar medical image viewers
- Familiarity with enterprise healthcare systems and workflows
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience (including 1 year technical experience)
OR
- Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience (including 1 year technical experience)
- Master’s degree preferred
