Are you ready to lead the modernization of identity and access management (IAM) in a complex, cloud-first enterprise environment? Trissential is hiring an IAM Data Engineer to join our client’s team and help build a cloud-hosted IAM Data Fabric that supports compliance, security, and user experience. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in GCP, IAM architecture, and data engineering will directly shape the future of identity governance.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain batch ETL and near real-time data pipelines for IAM data sources
  • Normalize and model data from identity platforms including authorization, authentication, and privileged access systems
  • Design and implement IAM Data Fabric architecture aligned with federal cybersecurity frameworks
  • Automate onboarding of critical applications into IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, SSO, PAM)
  • Streamline access certification processes and develop reporting dashboards
  • Modernize Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) workflows using event-driven architecture
  • Create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using SAFe Agile principles and Microsoft ADO
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including SQL and pipeline development
  • Strong experience with IAM architecture and strategic design
  • Proficiency in GCP (highly preferred) and Azure
  • Familiarity with FICAM model and HHS Cybersecurity Performance Goals
  • Experience with SAFe Agile and Microsoft ADO
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements
  • Professionalism and ethics in handling sensitive data and adhering to security policies

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Active Directory, and Entra ID
  • Exposure to healthcare or government-regulated environments
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and pub/sub integration
  • Knowledge of IAM certification cycles and automation strategies

Education & Certifications You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    OR equivalent experience (5+ years in data engineering and IAM roles)
