Your Role & Responsibilities
• Lead job‑site walkthroughs at foundation, build, and inspection stages
• Create build‑designs that adhere to BICSI and NEC standards
• Develop accurate BOMs and parts lists for bids
• Compare contractor bids to secure the best outcome
• Coordinate logistics of materials and team schedules
• Drive vendor and supply coordination
• Represent technology services in construction meetings
• Ensure compliance with fire protection, electrical, and cabling codes
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
• 5+ years in physical infrastructure projects (cabling, fiber, racks), ideally 10+ years
• BICSI‑certified (RCDD, RTPM, or DCDC strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with CAT‑6A, RF towers, campus network systems
• Strong understanding of NEC codes; journeyman electrician license is a plus
• Proficiency in BOM creation, bid solicitation, and cost estimating
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Organized, self‑driven, excellent communicator, detail‑oriented, and collaborative
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Utility or industrial sector experience
• Familiarity with outside‑plant (OSP) infrastructure
• Prior experience in Amarillo or willingness to relocate and be local
Education & Certifications Needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational/certification background
• Mandatory: BICSI (e.g., RCDD, DCDC, RTPM) and/or journeyman electrician license
