Your Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support backend services in NextJS with API creation, ensuring uptime, resilience, and scalability
- Work closely with team leads, business users, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to support data warehousing, analytics, ML applications
- Implement deployment automation and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform)
- Perform root cause analysis and expert-level troubleshooting to resolve issues impacting production and development systems
- Create and maintain documentation for codebases, processes, and system architectures
- Participate in Agile Scrum processes: sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retros
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5+ years of hands-on software development with NextJS, including building APIs
- 5+ years working with relational databases (SQL)
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with Azure or GCP
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively across technical and business teams
- Professional approach to the full software lifecycle, including code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and documentation
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Java and Spring frameworks
- Familiarity with React
- Experience with Google BigQuery
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps pipelines
- Background in healthcare or analytics applications
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience coding applications or services in high-level languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C#)
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and time management skills
