Trissential is hiring two Senior Project Managers to support a regulated utility client, leading separate but equally critical initiatives. One role is based in Minneapolis, MN focusing on field technology integration. The other is based in Denver, CO leading risk mitigation efforts. Your Role & Responsibilities
For the Denver-Based Risk Mitigation Lead:
- Oversee a portfolio of projects focused on infrastructure safety and reliability improvements
- Lead workshops, scope planning, and ensure documentation meets governance standards
- Own budget forecasting, financial tracking, and coordination with technical and compliance teams
For the Minneapolis-Based Field Technology Integration Lead:
- Manage two pilot initiatives leveraging advanced remote sensing platforms to enhance asset inspection
- Coordinate vendor procurement, system integration, and transition from pilot to operational deployment
- Facilitate data workflows across platforms and ensure alignment with enterprise systems
Core Responsibilities for Both Roles:
- Lead 8–11 small to mid-sized projects within larger safety or technology programs
- Develop and maintain project documentation, plans, and architecture diagrams
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings
- Drive monthly financial reviews including budget, forecast, and actuals reconciliation
- Present updates to governance bodies, leadership, and program management offices
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to the project phase
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably within energy, utilities, or other regulated industries
- Strong budgeting and financial tracking skills, including accrual-based reporting and forecasting
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and coordinating across technical and business stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SAP, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to independently lead workshops, planning sessions, and status presentations
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with field data collection tools and remote monitoring systems
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms or geospatial systems
- Understanding of safety and compliance protocols in utility or critical infrastructure environments
- Exposure to portfolio or lifecycle governance processes and reporting methodologies
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
