Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, functional documentation, and workflow modeling for a COTS system upgrade
- Develop as-is/to-be workflows, use cases, and maintain traceability between requirements and testing
- Create and maintain visual diagrams illustrating business and functional flows
- Design and execute the test strategy and test cycles, ensuring full requirements coverage
- Oversee defect management and resolution, supporting go-live readiness
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment and progress
- Work within a Waterfall project environment, ensuring structured execution and quality throughout each phase of the project lifecycle
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with full project lifecycle exposure
- 5+ years of Test Lead experience including planning, execution, and reporting
- Proven success in requirements management, documentation, and use case creation
- Experience in testing complex, regulated systems and driving defect resolution
- Strong critical thinking, facilitation, and communication skills
- Experience working on COTS upgrade or implementation projects with integrations
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience working in the utility industry
- Knowledge of Electric Transmission business processes
- Background with Energy Accounting or related systems
Education & Certifications You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications in Business Analysis or Software Testing are a plus
