Your Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project, identifying critical paths and key milestones
- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks, assigning responsibilities and setting clear deadlines
- Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to stay on track
- Implement change control processes to manage scope and prevent scope creep
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on timeline and scope management
- Proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools
- Demonstrated ability to identify critical paths and manage project schedules effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to break down work into detailed tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in contract-to-hire roles, demonstrating adaptability and commitment
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working alongside Product Owners
- Background in industries where scope management is critical, such as IT or construction
Education & Certifications You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
