Full Stack Developer

Trissential is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our client team remotely in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you’ll harness your expertise in React and Next.js to design and develop innovative web applications that directly support state-level nutrition programs. • Design and develop web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express
• Implement and optimize features like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and lazy loading for peak performance
• Work with stakeholders, analysts, and team members to gather and refine requirements, transforming them into functional, scalable code
• Create robust APIs and integrate them with front-end and back-end systems for seamless user experiences
• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and uphold high-quality development standards
• Test, debug, and optimize code to meet performance and functional requirements
• Support ongoing system upgrades and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to technical support staff and stakeholders

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and Next.js for front-end development
• Expertise in Node.js, Express, and RESTful APIs or GraphQL
• Proficiency in SQL and database optimization for seamless front-end integration
• Strong foundation in performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and modern web development tools
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Expertise in React, Material UI, and Next.js
• Strong understanding of SSR, SSG, and reusable component libraries
• Ability to create visually appealing, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Skilled in debugging and resolving performance issues for a smooth user experience
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Proven track record of working directly with business users to document and refine requirements

• Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering best practices
• Familiarity with compliance-driven or government-based projects
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies

Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $101 000 to $112 000 annually depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
