Senior Database Administrator

Trissential is seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our client’s team in a remote role in Minneapolis, MN. • Design and optimize MS SQL Server and Azure databases, ensuring high performance and availability
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot databases to keep systems running at peak performance
• Partner with developers and engineers to build robust database solutions that address critical business needs
• Architect secure, scalable database environments for large transaction volumes, including backup and disaster recovery
• Mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment

• 7+ years of database administration experience, with 4+ years focused on Azure SQL MI and Azure SQL databases
• Proven expertise in large-scale SQL Server environments, including replication, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Strong ability to analyze and solve complex database challenges in both Agile and Waterfall settings

• Skilled in SQL Server Replication, SSRS report deployment, and SQL tuning
• Deep understanding of database modeling, normalization, and Azure integration strategies
• Expertise in data warehousing, database security, and SQL optimization

• Healthcare industry experience or familiarity with highly regulated environments
• Exposure to Oracle databases, Azure pipelines, and data migration best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Success in collaborative, matrixed organizations
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse technical teams

Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $58 to $60 based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
