JDE Functional Consultant – Materials/Distribution

Trissential is seeking a JDE Functional Consultant with expertise in Materials and Distribution to join our client team on a hybrid model with 3 days onsite in either Greenville, WI or Dodge Center, MN. In this role, you’ll apply your JD Edwards (JDE) knowledge to optimize materials management and distribution functions, playing a vital part in ensuring efficient supply chain and inventory processes. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you’ll support a JDE project aimed at enhancing and upgrading system capabilities, directly contributing to the client’s business objectives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for JDE Materials and Distribution modules
• Drive configuration, customization, and enhancement activities within JDE to align with project goals and create efficient material and distribution solutions
• Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives
• Oversee project lifecycle stages, from requirements gathering to testing and implementation, ensuring solutions meet business needs
• Provide expertise and troubleshooting for JDE Materials and Distribution modules, ensuring smooth and effective system performance
• Conduct training for end-users and support change management efforts to maximize system utilization

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven functional experience with JD Edwards in Materials and Distribution modules
• Strong understanding of supply chain, materials management, and distribution processes in a JDE environment
• Solid project management skills with the ability to guide projects through various stages

• Expertise in JD Edwards Materials and Distribution modules
• Analytical and problem-solving skills tailored to creating effective business solutions
• Collaborative and communicative, with a consulting approach suited to client-focused environments
• Proficient in project documentation, testing, and end-user training processes

• Experience with JDE system upgrades or enhancements, ideally in an analyst or project management role
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, or logistics within JD Edwards

• 3+ years of experience as a JD Edwards functional consultant, focusing on Materials and Distribution
• Prior experience within a consulting environment or on large-scale JDE projects is preferred

Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $135,000 annually depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
